Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Pat Tray.
Dedicated to serving the country, Pat served in the Navy for more than two decades. He spent 13 years as a member of Navy SEAL Team Six and SEAL Team Two.
As a Navy Special Warfare Operator and decorated combat Veteran, Pat served in more than 60 countries and numerous combat zones, specializing in counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency.
Additionally, he obtained certifications as a qualified instructor in a number of various martial arts styles and special operations tactics. He also utilized his expertise to serve as a combat operations instructor in the military and trained other SEAL teams and Special Forces units.
Pat retired from the Navy in 2001. He is currently the owner of a martial arts school in Virginia.
Congrats to CSW ProFighters Jacob “Lil Badger” Rosales and Curtis “Curtious” Millender on their wins at Bellator 170 this past weekend. Both won via TKO (Punches). Congrats guys!!!

You have to get hit in the face a little bit. It wakes you up and makes you think. Punching erases your memory. When you say the five things you are going to do in the guard, each time you get punched you’ll start forgetting each thing. The more you get punched, the lower your belt gets.
Punch – Punch – Punch – Stall – Hold – Control – Resilience – Motion – Smother!
Blanket them with your body weight and hit them as many times as you can. If you grapple at home, and only grapple, you need to add striking to your game to make it real!
