Ed started his journey in the back of an Office Depot with an introduction to Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Kali by Sifu David Quigley. Later Sifu David and Ed met Guro Ron Balicki and have been training under him since 2008.

In 2015, he earned his instructorship in Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Ron. Through Ron, Ed was introduced to Muay Thai, Shooto, and more.

Recently, he put on the white belt again to start Brazilian Jiujitsu.
