Coach Jesse is a Brown Belt under Dave Kiedaisch who is a Black Belt under the legendary 5th Degree Professor John Ouano and we are a proud part of the Team Tsunami family. Coach Jesse was an avid competitor while coming up through the ranks, starting his competitive career under Professional MMA fighter Robbie Lillard. Upon the closure of the former academy coach Jesse found his home at High Road BJJ under head coach Dave Kiedaisch and received his purple and brown belt from him. Jesse has competed at many superfights and has his own grappling promotion called Freedom Grappling Invitational where many world class competitors have faced off. Jesse believes that the art of Brazilian Jiu-JItsu has the power to change lives and has donated thousands of hours of free training to Military, Law Enforcement and kids that have been bullied. Jesse is a full time Sheriff’s Deputy and understands the need for self defense in real world environments. He is also a DCJS Defensive Tactics Instructor and a DCJS Firearms Instructor.
