Instructor Jared Bahr has been studying Martial arts for over a decade. He began learning the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program while serving in the Corps. While being stationed in San Diego he began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under sixth degree black belt Nelson Monteiro at Gracie Barra Encinitas. Upon leaving the Marine Corps, Jared and his wife Angela moved back to the Des Moines Area. Jared soon began training under Cliff Harris in 2010 and began teaching in 2011. Jared most recently was awarded his Brown Belt by Sensei Erik Paulson.
