Coach Russell was first introduced to Combat Submission Wrestling around 1999 and has taught CSW and MMA from 2004 to the present. With a martial arts background spanning over 35 years, he has competed in multiple organizations and credits Professor Erik Paulson as the inspiration behind his well-rounded approach to fighting and instruction.
Coach Russell is the CSW BJJ and CSW MMA instructor at TronFit in Miami, Florida, which is owned by his former students and assistant coaches, Joseph and Matt Cintron.
