My name is Rich Peterson. I have been involved and trained in the “Inosanto” Martial Arts systems since 1992. JKD, Kali, Muay Thai, CSW and BJJ are my core list of Martial Arts. I retired from the Army Reserve in 2008, as an Infantry Commander. I retired from the Seattle Police Department in 2022, as the LEAD Use of Force and Integrated Control and Combat Coordinator and Instructor. After retiring from SPD, I was appointed as the Lead Use of Force and Control Defensive Tactics Instructor for the State of Washington. I started training under Sensei Erik Paulson in 1997. Sensei has always been the most innovative and dynamic Instructor to me, and I always try to model what he has taught to me. It is an honor to be a part of the Erik Paulson Family.
