Detailed Information About Our Classes at CSW Headquarters

Our Kids Martial Arts Program gives your child the opportunity to: build self-esteem, develop confidence, and improve discipline while at the same time having fun. Through our program your child’s concentration, coordination and fitness level will also increase. What we offer is a martial arts program that includes a hybrid NoGi grappling system in CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling) and striking in STXKickboxing (Savate-Thai Kickboxing). Classes are specifically structured for children ages 4 to 13. This program focuses on improving children’s listening and motor skills. All classes are taught in a safe and supervised environment.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Developed from the Gracie family in Brazil, this system is famous for its devastating ground techniques. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was specifically developed to allow a smaller person to defeat a larger person by sophisticated application of leverage and technique. Gaining superior position on your opponent and applying a myriad of chokes, holds, locks, and join manipulations becomes the foundation for this fun martial art.

No Gi Grappling
Combat Submission Wrestling

Erik’s system (CSW) blends Judo, Freestyle Wrestling, and Greco-Roman Wrestling with techniques and submissions from Shootwrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo, and Catchascatchcan. CSW trains the individual to strike, clinch, takedown, and submit on the ground in either a sport, mixed martial art, or self-defense environment. It is laden with painful submission hold and a plethora of devastating leg locks. The evolved style provides the perfect compliment to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

This hybrid striking system developed by Erik Paulson focuses on explosive techniques in Boxing, Panatukan, Jun Fan/JKD Kickboxing, Savate, and MuayThai (Thai & Dutch metods). In STX Kickboxing, students will learn a blend of elbows, punches and knees from each art. These skills are easily translated in MMA, kickboxing, and self-defense situations. From glove drills, focus mitts, Thai-pads, and sparring, students will have a variety of striking options.

Filipino Martial Arts – Kali

This system encompasses an entire spectrum of weaponry and also features sophisticated empty hands including boxing, trapping, and grappling. Unlike most martial arts systems, FMA teaches both weaponry and empty hands together because the principles are common to both and are inter-changeable. Armed or unarmed, the FMA student learns to relate to any situation using the same concepts of body angling, positioning and flowing. FMA is one of the most comprehensive fighting systems known to man.

Muay Thai Fundamentals

Muay Thai, is a kickboxing system known for its devastating use of elbows and knees. In this class, students learn the fundamentals of using your fists, elbows, knees, and shins to take out your opponent. A great system for fighting and self-defense, it shows a student how to defeat an opponent with one blow, with the use of body weight. It is the perfect art to learn how to protect oneself and to get into amazing physical shape.

Wrestling is a combat sport involving grappling type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. The sport can either be theatrical for entertainment, or genuinely competitive. A wrestling bout is a physical competition, between two (occasionally more) competitors or sparring partners, who attempt to gain and maintain a superior position. There are a wide range of styles with varying rules with both traditional historic and modern styles. Wrestling techniques have been incorporated into other martial arts as well as military hand-to-hand combat systems.
