You lucky man! I hope in my lifetime I get to train with such people, I guess I’m off to a good start so far though and there’s plenty of time.
Guro Dan still teaches at his school all the time! I’m in oc most of the time teaching and training. There’s plenty of opportunity to train w/Guro and has camps regularily! http://www.inosantoacademy.com.

Erik, you carry you with a most exceptional resume’ of mentors. You have truely been blessed to have had opportunity to learn from such great men. I don’t know that I will ever make it to Cali to train, but if I did I would start at your gym. You seem to be friends with everyone I’ve wanted to train with over the years.
Thank You –
I am very blessed to have many great people around me. Hard sweat is the lubricant of success!

Nice to hear your still training with Guro Inosanto. Theres a web that stated diffrent from Paul Bax. Now i can post and shut some people up. God bless.
I posted a reply to a rumor that was posted on the Paul Bax forum of Eric Paulson leaving Guro Inosanto after your above comment, also asked them not to spread rumors to call you or check your web. They have removed the post from their forum. Just wanted to set the record straight. God bless.
very nice on the school site. I have been part of the paulsoncsw.com for abit now. I like it also. I look forward to SLC,UT seminar.
HI Erik here-
I have never left Guro Dan. He’s my Father and Mentor. I opened my school in Orange County. I still train with Guro when I can. I host him for
my camp every year now so my guys can experience what I did. His greatness and unbelievable sense of humbleness and humility. All of my success is from Guro’s teaching and exposure through him. I Love him and
his family very much and for anyone to say anything bad comes from either
jealosy or by their lack of knowledge. I talk to Guro every week and always joke with him, ask questions, or check in with him! Don’t state something that you don’t know because that’s just assuming. We all know what assuming stands for!
Thanks for the heads up!
Erik
Much respect. I will be posting your exact response to the forum, regardless that Paul Bax took out the original post. The post was their for a time and people responded without asking you first, not my style. especially if its about Guro Dan and yourself. God Bless.
My post to the forum
There was a post recently on the forum about Eric Paulson leaving Guro Inosanto I responded to the post and stated the post was just a rumor and we shouldn’t spread rumors. I have trained in seminars from 2003-2005 in Priceton NJ with Dan Inosanto and Eric Paulson. I asked Sensei Eric about this rumor and he answered so i think everyone should hear his response erik paulson says:

Checked out the two sites http://www.cswtrainingcenter.com and http://www.paulsoncsw.com
I signed up as an annual member for the former and it appears the latter is just getting cranked up. Both good sites. I’ve looked at nearly all of the vids on the training site, great stuff. My only suggestion would be…..Leg locks.
I’m too old and fat and slow to pass most peoples guard anymore so I’ve been devling into leg locks, since they’re up there to be grabbed. Might as well take what their givin me.
Thanks in advance,
Da Goon

Leg Locks.
Over all conditiing and timing sparring both stand-up and on the ground is the most vital part of initial preperation. Wind and timing are the two most essential parts of fighting that one can posess to fight! Strategy and tactics are the topping on the cake!
Erik
with that in mind how about some timing drills please?
