THE REVOLUTIONARY MOTION MASTER GROUND BAG
After my fight career ended, I tried to recollect all of the drills and methods that I was put through 5 days a week. My camp was always diverse twice a day. The fact is that we were in the beginning and developmental stages of MMA training and fighting, we overdid everything, every aspect of the game. We were truly in the trial and error stages of practice. Utilizing the motto “hard sweat and blood”, as the lubricant of our success. We had an attitude that nothing, no amount of training was ever enough. At the end of my successful reign in Japan, I started to realize that the ground bag was the most dreaded and helpful staple in my training regimen. This is where my idea was formed…the Motion Master ground bag!
I noticed that throughout my travels and teaching to other training and fighting gyms everyone was using heavy bags on the ground. The round boxing heavy bags were always being used on the ground. they were all taped up, the metal brackets held down so they wouldn’t hurt the people using them. Everyone performed G&P rounds on a big round heavy bag..which is nothing close to the real contours of a human body.
This is where my little light bulb clicked on..Everyone was trying to flatten these bags to make them feel like they were more of a human body..flat. Flattening their round ground and pound bags with their whole objective being mostly pounding..
My idea finally developed enough that I was confident that my concept had a place in the market. To develop a flat ground and pound bag focusing on the ability to move and transition from position to position developing anaerobic conditioning through movement and beatings from a short distance. The bag had to have real dimensions of a real grounded person that enables one to keep on moving from end to end. I eliminated the arms and legs for movement proficiency and replaced them with NUBS! Simulating the most important control points, with that being the elbows, shoulders and hips. I put these on both ends along with 2 heads, one on both ends. It almost looks like an alligator, excluding the tail.
My intention was base on the principle of Perpetual Motion..The Infinity symbol..the sideways figure. Since the body is always moving..so should you. Constant moving, focusing on positioning, transitioning, and then last but not least, grounded beatings!!!
This bag is designed for non stop movement and pounding to anaerobically kick your butt!!
