Watched one of your fighters, Steven STRYKER Ciaccio, defeat his opponent for the Momentum Lightweight Championship title. His opponent was an expert in Jujitsu, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't take Steven down. I know that he learned and perfected a lot of his ground game from you Erik and all of the awesome fighters that train there at CSW. You should be proud that one of your students did so well.

Hello Mr Paulson,

I'm a little bit confused with all the DVDs of CSW, could you please give me some more explination?
- the 5 student level DVDs are the one we have to start with?
- how do the 5 'essentials' DVDs fit into the program?
- the material on the specialised DVDs (leglocks, killer leglocks, armbar, chicken wings, etc...) can be found on the 'student' and/or 'essential' DVDs? or are they complete standalones?
- Which DVDs come after the 'student' and 'essential' series?

Thank you in advance?

There is a guy at my gym who is a blue belt that has been doing the bottom position keylock as a side control escape for the past few months and he hits it with a lot of consistency. I'm glad to see it on here at a viable and teachable technique. Very impressive, as always.

Also, I loved the most recent intereview on the Open Mat podcast. Let's see more interviews with CSW guys!

Erik, I have admired not just your technique teaching, but also your outlook and philosophy. When I start and end my muay Thai classes, I always wai and give respects. I believe not only is it a great tradition, but in opinion it is a way to center oneself and get mentally ready for the work ahead. Even in drills and pad hitting we start off with the wai. It's a signal to the training partners that each one is ready to work, an for me, a built in safety mechanism and a form of communication. I try to instill this respect in my students and want them to Spread this respect to others.
